This is a fresh, zippy white wine with bright citrus fruit and racy, refreshing acidity. 85% French Colombard, with a small percentage of Pinot Gris and Viognier filling out the mid palate and offering up some tropical aromatics. This is an amazing spring and summer sipper- a picnic and party wine, with notes of lemon zest, nectarine, and grapefruit.
A lively acidity keeps this light on the palate but the wine remains richly textured, with high-toned wild red berry fruit singing alongside subtle notes of sandalwood, cedar and spice. This is from a cool-climate vineyard block on the true Sonoma Coast- an earthy and complex wine with forest floor and subtle toasted oak warming the palate.
From the highly-esteemed Ritchie Vineyard, our 2014 Russian River Pinot Noir is richly textured with vibrant dark berry fruit and loads of licorice and cola spice. This is classic Russian River fruit, dense and well-balanced, from one of our favorite vineyard sites.
Our fruit is all from the dynamic DuPratt Vineyard, a cool-climate vineyard up at 1500 ft near the Mendocino coast, which has been farmed organically since 2000. Vibrant ripe cherry and wild blackberry notes dominate the palate with a touch of clove spice on the finish. This is a truly expressive wine, lush but balanced with medium acidity. With soft tannins, this is ready to drink now but will continue to improve with age.
This is a fantastic wine and a major crowd pleaser- a southern Rhone-style blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre. Boisterous blackberry and plum fruit here, with hints of cassis and licorice. This is a richer, medium to full-bodied wine that is also easy drinking and food-friendly. Absolutely perfect for your next BBQ or pizza night. Enjoy!
Our Cabernet is sourced from Atwood Ranch, a 20-acre vineyard that supports organic and sustainable farming. It is on the site of one of the oldest vineyards in Sonoma. We pick our Cabernet block earlier than most for a distinctly old-world, lower alcohol style and a more lively, food-friendly wine. Fermented 50% whole cluster, the wild dark berry fruit mingles with cedar tobacco spice. It was aged for 20 months in neutral oak puncheons to preserve the vitality of fresh fruit character and subtle earthy aromatics.
Located high in the Mayacamas range, Redwood Hill vineyard is rich with red volcanic soil and enjoys optimal sun exposure. The fruit was 100% de-stemmed, resulting in a richly concentrated wine with remarkable depth and character. Blackberry, wild cherry, and cassis notes mingle with the cedar tobacco, spice, and dry sage. With a small amount of Cabernet Franc (10%), this Bordeaux style blend boasts old world elegance and soft, well-integrated tannic structure.
